Look at the consumption profile

Monthly consumption is a starting point, but does not describe hourly demand. Gather twelve months of bills where possible, contracted power and operating days. Mention seasonal variations and planned expansion.

Describe the available space

Provide location, approximate area and roof or ground type. Plans and photos help identify access, shading, substrate condition and layout questions. Available area alone does not confirm technical feasibility.

Define the purpose

Self-consumption, pumping, supply continuity and autonomy involve different requirements. State priority equipment and operating hours. For storage, describe the intended use rather than choosing a battery capacity in advance.

Separate assumptions from study results

Sizing, savings and payback depend on site information and costs. Connection conditions and the applicable framework must be checked for the project. A roof area alone cannot establish a guaranteed savings percentage.

Prepare the initial discussion

Send site type, city, available data and target timeframe through the MH2C solar form. Initial scoping identifies missing information before a tailored proposal.
